Planet Yardrat is the home of the Yardratian race, known for their mastery of unique and extraordinary techniques rooted in Spirit Control — the ability to manipulate one's own ki with exceptional precision. Goku was transported there by Instant Transmission during his escape from Namek and spent a year recovering and learning from the Yardratians, acquiring the Instant Transmission technique himself. In the Moro arc, Vegeta also traveled to Yardrat and learned a different application of Spirit Control, ultimately mastering Forced Spirit Fission to counter Moro's absorption ability.
